Born and raised in Baltimore, Janet Little Jeffers is an artist specializing in digital photography. Her background includes careers in graphic design, interior design, and broadcasting–she can sometimes be heard announcing on WTMD radio. Her work explores intimate and abstract details in the natural and manmade worlds, especially in abandoned subjects such as vehicles or structures left to decay. Her recent projects include series from Cuba and the polar regions of the Arctic and Antarctica.
Janet’s work has been featured in exhibitions throughout the mid-Atlantic, on book and magazine covers, in film and video, and in commissions for institutions and businesses such as University of Maryland Medical System and Pharmaceutics International, Inc. She has been working from a studio in Baltimore’s historic Bromo Seltzer Arts Tower since 2010.
