Opening Reception Saturday, July 15, 2017 from 4:30-6:30pm
Picture the ocean as it churns and cascades, spits and crashes… grooving time into the cliffs of the Pacific Coast. She is grand, she is elegant, and her sharp ridges and sea urchin tide pools captivate the senses. Your vision widens to see ancient ferns unfurling within a forest of moss & conifers. This moment in time and space is one of many naturescapes The Dandy Vagabonds have created for their exhibition of two and three dimensional works entitled Moonifestations of Ancestor Earth: a voyage of expansion.
The Dandy Vagabonds are a Baltimore based pair of curious, playful artists who thrive on telling stories of whimsy, adventure, insight, and balance through performance art, fiber arts, the tactile, and the ephemeral. Inspired by the lineage of stones and the memory of flying, the collaborative duo, xander & elliot weave together moments of ancestor past and future in their panoramic environments. They invite you on a journey throughout Earth element tapestries and into the Cosmos.
