Emerge Baltimore, Vol. 3: Summer Edition
The exhibitions that are part of the Emerge Baltimore, Vol. 3: Summer Edition are now open at the Bromo Seltzer Arts Tower. Bromo’s (@bromotower) galleries are open to the public on Saturdays from 11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. and by appointment from 11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
This edition of BOPA’s signature emerging artist exhibition series features the work of Baltimore artists Alexander D’Agostino (@xxglitterwitchxx), kolpeace (@kolpeace), and Ali Mirsky (@alimirskymosaics) Each exhibition occupies a different floor of “The Tower,” which happens to be the name of D’Agostino’s show. “Fo Er’body Blk” by kolpeace incorporates a number of interactive elements, including a section of wall viewers are encouraged to sign. “Pieces of Me” by Ali Mirsky also fosters audience interaction. Outside the gallery with her intricate mosaics is a bowl of small found objects, like the ones she uses in her work, that asks attendees to take one as a token of the experience.
These exhibitions will be on view through September 21, 2024.
